Back in December 2023, I set a slightly ambitious goal: release one song every month until the end of 2024. While not entirely successful at the releases actually being monthly, I have achieved my goal of releasing 12 songs in this time span. Below, you’ll find the results—a sonic journey that bounces from spacey Synth Pop to explosive Psych Rock, each track offering a glimpse into my personal world.

Your
An evolution of my vocal style after years of holding back, I wrote this years ago, and came back to it once I felt I could pull it off. A song about an ex and I’d rather not go into it more than that!

I’m Your One
Love can be bittersweet. You want the river to keep flowing as it has, but sometimes you find yourself at an impasse. The question then becomes, do I stay patient, or do I have the dreaded conversation. This song is about having that patience. Listen on Spotify

Can’t We Just Go to Bed
Sometimes I just want to snuggle away the stuff I struggle to say. This is a song about that. Listen to Spotify

I’ll Be Fine (A side)
This was written shortly after my family received the dreaded news – my sister’s cancer had returned, and this time it wasn’t going away. To keep her company while she recovered from her bone marrow transplant, I sequestered myself from the world for weeks before visiting her bubble, and the days I spent with her turned into treasured memories after I lost her.
It’s really a message of knowing that you’re grieving, but you will come through it. Listen on Spotify

Empty Mind (B side)
‘Empty Mind’ is a short instrumental inhale/exhale. Listen on Spotify

Halfway Across the World (EP track 1)
‘Halfway Across the World’ details the joy of finding someone you love in a long-distance relationship, but also the longing one feels in such a situation. Listen on Spotify

Sunset (EP track 2)
Thematical counterpart of ‘Halfway Across the World’. Listen on Spotify

Lonely Crowd (EP track 3)
A wall of faces closing in, your heart pulsating in your ears, and the aching vacuum in your lungs – panic takes hold. The exit is past the crowd, and you feel the stares follow as you flounder and flutter to escape. Listen on Spotify

Sleeping Dogs (EP track 4)
‘Sleeping Dogs’ is a contemplative ballad on letting past feelings about someone stay in the past, despite the whirlwind of emotions you experienced. Listen on Spotify
